Welcome to Mosaic Creative Works!

We are mother and daughter artists who love to discover beauty in the way a variety of pieces can come together to make artworks. Our creative process begins with the “finding” – finding broken pieces and discarded material from a variety of sources. We search thrift shops for unique glass, ceramic and fabric; reclaim scrap glass from a local stained glass artist, unearth ceramic plates buried long ago on the farm; and rescue pottery and unwanted apparel from friends. Inspired by the collected pieces, we can then connect them to see what creative work emerges.
